About TA-BU

Presentation of the company TA-BU d.o.o. and its operations

TA-BU d.o.o Ljubljana is a legal entity of Slovene legislation, founded in on May 23rd 1990 and registered in court on June 13th 1990. The company was founded by Aleš Tavčar, Dimitrij Buchegger and Miha Tavčar who were joined in 1993 by Vera Tavčar (all family members) with her own capital and in 1997 by Marjan Babnik. The founding acts of the company are designed so as to enhance long-term successful work of the company.

The company started operating in 1990 and the first leasing contract was signed in 1991.

Following the stabilization of the political situation in the Republic of Slovenia and after establishing trust and support of foreign banks, the business boomed in the years to follow. We see successful growth of the company as a result of hard work and appropriate decisions of our experts. According to the central Slovene economic weekly magazine Gospodarski vestnik (GV no. 43, 1995) TA-BU at that time occupied 19th place in the chart of the 50 fastest growing Slovene companies between 1991 and 1994 (regardless of the ownership scheme), with a minimum of 500.000 EUR profit in 1994. If, however, former state companies had not been included in this survey, the results would have been even more favourable.

Until 1998 the real estates and movables leasing presented the main area of activities, while shortly before that the company started developing parallel investment activities. At present, the company successfully operates in both fields of activities, which present two separate marketing and sales units of the company. Each of them is managed by a team of highly qualified, experienced, and motivated employees. This fact presents a guarantee that the tasks will be completed successfully, and the goals achieved.

TA-BU has 19 full-time employees, while in carrying out investment projects we cooperate with associates in the fields of finance, law, and civil engineering.
